an eight foot by sixteen foot high bookcase wrapped with a stair that lands at a slotted catwalk for browsing the upper section of books and leads to the sleeping loft. a lower level circular enclosure provides storage. both are surfaced with a translucent reflective material that is slightly rippled and contrasts with the hard geometry of the wooden structural elements.
